- ⚠️TOURIST CITY PASS warning: Now 2,500 yen, not recommended. For Dazaifu Tenmangu, take Dazaifu Liner bus 'Tabito' from airport (600 yen) or Nishitetsu train from Tenjin (round trip 840 yen) - much cheaper.
- •Yufuin/Beppu choice: Fast & comfortable = JR Rail Pass (express 2 hours), Budget = SUNQ PASS (express bus 2.5 hours). Price difference is 5,000 yen!
- •JR Rail Pass includes free seat reservations! Popular limited express like Yufuin no Mori and Sonic sell out in peak season - book online in advance!
- •Buy on Klook in advance - slightly cheaper than on-site and skip the lines.
